My name is Rachael and IÂ almost feel like a grown up.Â
Almost.Â
The last 10 years I have been trying to figure out who I am, what I am supposed to do with my life, and what my future holds. I am just now starting to feel secure with my talents and what I can do to make a contribution to this world. As far as the future goes…that is wide open with possibilities.  And it is the possibilities that renewed my passion for life when the unknown used to keep me up at night with worry.Â
The one goal that was always present and constant was to be a wife and a mother. Goal accomplished. I married my husband in October of 2003 and we started growing our little tribe almost immediatly.  We have 2 amazing human beings ages 4 and 2 and they are the very essence of happiness.
I am a working mom and I really think I have this work-balance/quality-life thing worked pretty well out. I parent the way my kids deserve and my main puropose in life is to make sure they are raised with joy and happiness. If they can look back on their childhood and smile I have done my job.Â
Childhood should be something that is cherished, not endured.  My family deserves the very best part of me and I try to always give it. That means taking care of myself so I have the good stuff to give!

I’m so glad you’ve been sticking with 30 Day Shred. Jillian is awesome and so are you. I’ve been doing Making the Cut to prep for next weeks Hawaii trip. Your blog is great and your posts are really well written. Keep up the good work!
